    König: Johann Karl K., geb. zu Nürnberg am 10. März 1705, † am 24. December 1753 in Halle, studirte in Altorf und Marburg, wurde bei dem holländischen Gesandten in Regensburg Hofmeister, dann holländischer Legationssecretär, 1736 Dr. jur. in Altorf, Advocat in Nürnberg, von Ickstatt empfohlen 1742 ordentlicher Professor der Rechte in Marburg, 1750 des Staatsrechts in Halle, Beisitzer der Juristenfacultät und Hofrath. Er schrieb eine Reihe von Dissertationen und Aufsätzen über civilistische und prozessualistische Materien, besonders Gegenstände des Reichsrechts (über Reichsvicariat, das „Corpus Evangelicorum“, Reichstag u. A.); „Selecta juris publici novissima“ etc., Frankf. u. Leipz. 1740—1754, 29 Thle. (Sammlung der Begebenheiten an den Höfen, dem Reichstage, den Kreisversammlungen etc., welche für Recht, Politik, Kirchenwesen, Wirthschaft etc. von Bedeutung waren), setzte die „Europäische Staatskanzley“ von Faber fort vom 79. bis 104. Theile etc.
