  • Biography

    Von H. Lebensumständen wissen wir nur, daß er in der 1. Hälfte des 17. Jahrhunderts in Zwickau und Leipzig als Kompaßmacher tätig war. 1631 brachte er als erster ein Mikrometer zur Feineinstellung und Ablesung eines Winkels an einem Bussolendiopter an.
