    Ebert: Adam E., Rechtsgelehrter, geb. 1653 zu Frankfurt a/O., † daselbst 24. März 1735. Er machte Reisen, die er später in einem Buche unter dem Namen Aulus Apronius (1723) beschrieb, promovirte 1685 in seiner Vaterstadt und ward bald darauf außerordentlicher Professor der Rechte. Sein umfangreiches Testament, welches in den unten angeführten „Beyträgen“ (IV. 123—47) einen Abdruck gefunden hat und worin er seinen „Geist allen Gelehrten in gantz Europa“ hinterläßt, ist ein Curiosum von Eitelkeit und Beschränktheit.
