    Loos: Gottfried Bernhard L., geb. 1773, † 1843, Generalwardein und Münzrath in Berlin. Er gründete die hochberühmte Medaillenmünze in Berlin, etwa 1822. Er war der Sohn von →Daniel Friedrich L. Aus der Familie Loos gedenken wir noch dreier Glieder, welche sich als Stempelschneider ausgezeichnet haben: 1) →Georg Friedrich, 1742—66 in Nürnberg und Würzburg; 2) →Karl Friedrich, 1756—70 in Nürnberg; 3) →Friedrich, 1797 bis 1806 in Berlin.
