  • Biography

    Boucquet: Johann B., Dominicaner, geb. zu Lier um 1580, † 11. Juli 1640 zu Antwerpen. Er ward 1608 Prior zu Ypern, dann zu Köln und in Antwerpen. Die Gründung des Dominicanerklosters zu Lier ist sein Verdienst. Auf dem zu Valenciennes 7. Mai 1623 gehaltenen Capitel ward er zum Provincial gewählt. Er gab des Joh. Nider „Ordinis praedicatorum theologi de reformatione religiosorum libri III.“ 1611 heraus.
