    Andreä: Joh. Heinr. A., geb. zu Kreuznach 10. Mai 1728, studirte, nachdem er die dortige lateinische Schule besucht, seit 1743 zu Franecker Theologie und Philologie, ging 1750 als Rector der lateinischen Schule und dritter Prediger nach Düsseldorf, wo er blieb, bis er 1758 als Rector an das reform. Gymnasium in Heidelberg kam, trat 1789 in den Ruhestand und starb am 16. Mai 1793. Ein besonderes Verdienst erwarb er sich durch seine vielen kleinen, meist historischen Arbeiten (cf. Meusel's Lex.), welche pfälzische Gegenstände, namentlich die Geschichte pfälzischer Städte behandeln.
