    Pantzer: Hans P. (Bantzer), Kürschner und Meistersinger in Danzig oder Augsburg, erfand und componirte die zwanzigzeilige neue Jünglingsweise; daß Augsburgs berühmter Dichter, Mag. Joh. Spreng († 1601), diese Form alsbald benutzte, mag für Ansässigkeit in Augsburg zeugen. Gedichte Pantzer's, durchweg biblische und legendarische Stoffe behandelnd, sind aus den Jahren 1583 bis 1596 bekannt. Er liebte es, seine Bare aus drei verschiedenen Gesetzen zusammenzustellen.
