    Albert von Straßburg. Die in Straßburg abgefaßte wichtige Chronik des Matthias von Neuburg hat von 1350 ab Fortsetzungen erhalten, wovon eine bis zum Tode Kaiser Karls IV. reichende von A. von Straßburg herrührt, welcher längere Zeit hindurch den Namen des wahren Autors der Chronik gänzlich verdrängte. Hegel, Städtechroniken im VIII. Bande, hat das Verhältniß Alberts von Straßburg zu Matthias von Neuburg am besten bezeichnet.
