  • Biography

    Turk: Stephan T., geboren zu Münster als Sohn eines Schuhmachers am 1. Mai 1800, † daselbst am 25. October 1855. Nachdem er in der Geburtsstadt die Studien am Gymnasium und an der Akademie zurückgelegt hatte, studirte er die Rechtswissenschaft in Berlin, Göttingen und Bonn, an letzterer Universität von Ostern 1829 bis Herbst 1830, wurde am 28. Juli 1832 in Münster zum Priester geweiht. Derselbe veröffentlichte eine gute „Diss. hist.-canonica de jurisdictionis civilis per medium aevum cum ecclesiastica coniunctae origine et progressu“ (Münst. 1832).
