    Röggl: Alois R., Prälat, geboren zu Innsbruck 1782, machte daselbst seine Studien, wurde 1803 Mitglied des Prämonstratenserstiftes Milten bei Innsbruck, im J. 1805 Priester. Infolge der von der Universität Innsbruck ihm ertheilten facultas docendi lehrte er zuerst Philosophie, später Kirchenrecht und Pastoraltheologie in seinem Kloster. Im J. 1808 wurde er königl. bair. Professor in Innsbruck. 1809 Gehülfe des Bibliothekars und Professors Bertholdi, 1811 kam R. als Curat nach Ambras, 1814 als Pfarrer nach Patsch. Im J. 1816 in sein Stift zurückberufen, wurde der verdienstvolle, erprobte Mann Novizenmeister und Subprior — und im J. 1820 Prälat seines Stiftes, dem er bis zu seinem Tode mit Würde und in Segen vorstand. Er hinterließ auch einige theologische Schriften.
