    Ranisius: Sigismund R., ursprünglich wohl Ranisch, Componist geistlicher Musik, um die Mitte des 17. Jahrhunderts. Er war 1648 Stadtsyndikus zu Cottbus, † vor 1674. Im Druck ist von ihm erschienen: „In die Musik gesetzte Sprüche, Lieder und Psalmen“ (16 Concerte). Auch Gelegenheitsgedichte von ihm sind erhalten.
