Biography
Ossinger: Johann Felix O., gelehrter Augustiner, stammte aus einem Patriciergeschlechte zu München, war Magister der Theologie, Prior im Augustinerkloster daselbst, dann zweimal Provinzial der bairischen Provinz und endlich Generalassistent seines Ordens. Er starb am 6. October 1767. Ein Jahr später erschien seine noch heute sehr brauchbare „Bibliotheca Augustiniana historica, critica et chronologica, in qua 1400 Augustiniani ordinis scriptores ..... inveniuntur“, Ingolstadt und Augsburg 1768, Fol.
