    Olischer: Johann Balthasar O., geb. am 1. Juni 1685 zu Reichenbach im Voigtlande, studirte in Leipzig Theologie und stand hernach in mehreren geistlichen Aemtern, seit dem Jahre 1715 in seiner Vaterstadt, wo er auch im J. 1751 starb. Er hat das Lied: „Der Jünger Christi Zeichen ist. wenn aus dem Herzen Liebe fließt“, gedichtet, das in Gottschaldt's Universalgesangbuch (1737) und sodann in einigen anderen Gesangbüchern Aufnahme gefunden hat.
