    Brentel: Jörg B., aus Ellbogen, lebte in der ersten Hälfte des 16. Jahrhunderts. Wir besitzen von ihm erzählende und Spruchgedichte, unter jenen eines in Frauenlob's spätem Ton, das die Geschichte von der halben Decke, Undank der Kinder gegen die Eltern, zum Gegenstand hat, unter diesen einen Trostspruch wider den Türken, und einen Spruch von Tobias Lehre an seinen Sohn (1545), beide jedoch nur mit J. B. bezeichnet.
