    Marcard: Hinrich Matthias M., Dr. med., † in Stade am 26. November 1793, Verfasser mehrerer medicinischer Schriften, die meist Bearbeitungen nach dem englischen Arzt und Hospitalvorsteher Percivall Pott waren, schrieb auch kleinere belletristische Sachen, namentlich im Hannoverschen Magazin. Er lebte 1772 als Arzt in Stade, machte dann wissenschaftliche Reisen in England, ließ sich 1774 in Hannover nieder, wurde 1788 unter dem Titel Etatsrath Leibarzt des Bischofs von Lübeck und Herzogs von Oldenburg, dann hannoverscher Hofmedicus, Land- und Garnisonphysikus zu Stade.
