Biography
Drück: Friedrich Ferdinand D., Philolog, geb. zu Marbach 9. Decbr. 1754, seit 1779 Professor an der Karlsschule, nach deren Aufhebung 1794 am obern Gymnasium in Stuttgart, seit 1788 auch Bibliothekar der öffentlichen Bibliothek, gest. 27. April 1807. Den Zeitgenossen in der Heimath war D. das Ideal eines humanistischen und humanen Menschen. Seine Schriften gab Conz in 3 Bändchen, Tübingen 1810—12 heraus.
