    Brackenhoeft: Theodor B., † 22. Mai 1861 im 61. Lebensjahre, war erst Privatdocent, dann außerordentlicher Professor der Rechte und Mitglied des Spruchcollegiums an der Universität Heidelberg. Er docirte hauptsächlich deutsches Privatrecht und deutschen Civilproceß, und hat sich schriftstellerisch besonders um letztere Disciplin verdient gemacht durch seine Abhandlung: „Die Identität und materielle Connexität der Rechtsverhältnisse,“ 1839, und durch seine „Erörterungen über die Materien des allgemeinen Theils von Linde's Lehrbuch des deutschen gemeinen Civilprocesses,“ 1842.
