    Lakits: Georg Sigismund L. (Lakics), Jurist, geb. zu Polianicz im Eisenburger Comitat (Ungarn) am 25. November 1739, † zu Preßburg 1819.|Er studirte, unterstützt vom Grafen Sig. Batthyani, in Graz und Wien, hier namentlich unter Riegger, wurde Juristenrepetent am Theresianum, 1769 Professor des Kirchenrechts in Innsbruck. 1770 in Tyrnau, zugleich Bibliothekar, kam später als Professor, Censor und Director der juristischen Facultät und der Universitätsdruckerei nach Ofen, wo er seit 1780 als Rath der ungarischen Kanzlei bis zu seinem Tode lebte. Schriften: „Juris publici eccles. pars generalis de ecclesia christiana potestatisque sacrae cum civili nexu", Vien. 1774 (Venet. 1790). „Praecognita jur. eccles. universi", Vien. 1775 (Ven. 1790). „Institutio elementorum juris naturalis", Budae 1779—81. „Praelectiones canonicae de legitima episcoporum instituendorum ac destituendorum ratione, attemperatae legibus ac usibus regnorum Germaniae et Hungariae“, Vien. 1783. „De haereditario succedendi jure ducum primum deinde regum Hungariae“, ib. 1809.
