    Kugler: Johann Reinhard K., geb. zu Straßburg am 22. October 1723, machte daselbst die juristischen Studien und wurde 1750 Doctor der Rechte, 1756 ordentlicher Professor der Institutionen, 1760 der Pandekten und des Kirchenrechts, Canonicus an St. Thomas, 1770 der Pandekten und des öffentlichen Rechts. Er schrieb eine Anzahl von Dissertationen über civiliftische und processualistische Materien, über die Reformatio Frid. III. a. 1441, de jure legislatorio Merovaeorum et Carolingorum circa sacra u. a., aufgezählt bei Weidlich, Biogr. Nachr., I. 441 ff. Nachtr. S. 151 ff. Fortges. Nachtr. S. 156.
