    Klopsch: Karl Immanuel K., Chirurg zu Breslau, zu Glogau am 16. März 1829 geboren, studirte in Halle, Erlangen, Breslau, wo Reichert, Frerichs, A. Middeldorpf im engeren Sinne seire Lehrer waren; bei dem Erstgenannten war er auch Assistent. 1855 promovirt, wurde er 1859 Privatdocent, 1866 Professor für Chirurgie in Breslau und starb dort als Professor und Geh. Medicinalrath am 18. September 1891. K. schrieb über Rippenknorpelbrüche, über Lithopädion, orthopädische Studien, Prolegomena zur Geschichte der Physiologie etc.
