    Adolph: Joh. Traugott A., Arzt, den 4. Dec. 1728 in Hirschberg geboren, wurde, nachdem er 1758 in Halle zum Doctor der Arzneiwissenschaft promovirt worden war, 1760 als Prof. ord. der Anatomie und Chirurgie nach Helmstädt, 1768 in gleicher Eigenschaft nach Altdorf berufen, wo er am 11. April 1771 starb. Seine litterarischen Leistungen (cf. Haller, Bibl. anat. II. 560. Bibl. chir. II. 468) beschränken sich auf einige wenig bedeutende akademische Gelegenheitsschriften theils anatomisch-physiologischer, theils chirurgischer Natur. — (Oratio funebris in obitum Adolphi. Alt. 1771. Fol.)
