    Keuffel: Georg Gottfried K., geb. 1698 zu Wolfsburg im Herz. Magdeburg, † zu Helmstädt am 24. November 1771, wo er im J. 1729 mag. phil. und 1739 Professor der Moral und Politik geworden war. Schriften: „Disquisitiones theol. de causis corruptae ecclesiae"; Rost. 1724; „Institutiones veteris ac mediae ecclesiae politiae s. disciplinae eccles. maxime latinorum a condita ecclesia usque ad Conc. Trid. cet.": Helmst. 1740; „Historia pontificatus ramani ad illustrandam eccles. disciplinam. Accedit tr. Franc. Guicciardini de origine potestatis saecularis in romana ecclesia, liber"; ib. 1741: „Progr. de praedicatione evangelii inter christianos"; ib. 1745. Dazu noch einige Programme. Seinen Namen tragen auch „Elementa jurisprudentiae ecclesiasticae universalis"; Rost. 1728 fg.; (mit Vorrede von J. L. Mosheim). Sie sind aber wortwörtlich die von Chr. Matth. Pfaff (s. meine Gesch. der Quellen und Lit. des kan. Rechts III, 2. S. 105).
