    Bellermann: Constantin B., Gelehrter, Musiker und gekrönter Poet, geb. 1696 zu Erfurt, 1719 Cantor und 1741 Rector an der Schule zu Minden, fleißiger Componist und bewandert auf der Laute, Gambe, Violine und Flöte. Geschrieben hat er eine Anzahl Oratorien: „Die himmlischen Heerschaaren", 1726; „Der reiche Mann und arme Lazarus", 1733; „Die Allmacht in der Ohnmacht“, „Der triumphirende Jesus“, 1734; „Die siegende Schleuder Davids"; „Das auf ein La mi sich endigende Wohlleben des reichen Mannes", „Der verlorene Sohn", „Die Sendung des heil. Geistes“ mit Chorälen etc., 1735. Ferner die italienische Oper „Issipile“, viele Kirchenstücke, Gelegenheits-Cantaten und Tonstücke für Clavier, Laute, Gambe, Viol d'amore, Flöte. Gedruckt ist: „Programma in quo Parnassus musarum voce, fidibus, tibiisque resonans etc.“, Erfurt 1743, s. Mitzler, Biblioth. III. 559.
