    Burchardi: Wilrad B., Jurist, 22. Aug. 1734 zu Nieder-Aule im hessischen Fürstenthum Hersfeld geb., † 26. Juli 1793; studirte in Marburg die Rechte, advocirte daselbst und hielt Privatvorlesungen über mehrere Rechtstheile. 1757 zweiter Professor der Rechtswissenschaft in Herborn, wo er 1766 die erste Professur, mit der zugleich das akademische Syndicat und Archivariat verbunden war, erhielt. — Seine Schriften, die sich meistens auf römisches Recht, nassauisches Particularrecht und Lehnrecht beziehen, bei Vogel, Archiv d. nassauischen Kirchen- und Gelehrtengeschichte 189—194 und Meusel, Lexikon.
