Biography
Die Familie stammt aus Schlesien. Von dort kam 1659 Georg (1624–78), der Sohn eines evangelischen Märtyrers, als Konsistorialsekretär nach Stuttgart. Zur Familie gehören unter anderem Gottfried (1669–1728), Professor der Theologie in Tübingen, Daniel (1695–1752), Professor der Medizin in Tübingen, Immanuel (1710–72), Professor der Philologie und Stiftsephorus in Tübingen, Gottfried Daniel (1719–80), Professor des Staats- und Lehnrechts in Tübingen, Hofgerichtsassessor. Hofpfalzgraf (siehe ADB XII), Christian Gottfried (1756–84), Professor der Rechte in Tübingen (siehe ADB XII), und Johann Daniel (1743–1814), Professor des Staatsrechts und der Reichsgeschichte in Tübingen, seit 1790 Geheimer Rat in Stuttgart (siehe ADB XII).
