    Seit Beginn des 18. Jahrhundert in Hildesheim nachweisbare Familie ursprünglich mosaischen Glaubens.

    →Benjamin-Wolff († 1788) war Juwelier, fürstbischöflicher Hoffaktor und Gemeindevorsteher in Hildesheim. Seine Nachkommen verbreiteten sich als Juweliere und Manufakturwarenhändler über Deutschland bis nach England; der jüngste Sohn, →David Wolff (1757–1822, ⚭ Schöne, Tochter d. Samson Hertz, † 1803) zog als Juwelier 1788 nach Hamburg. →Gustav (1805–75) war Porträtmaler in Berlin (s. ThB).
