Biography
Seit Ende des 16. Jahrhunderts ist die Kaufmanns- und Hammerherrenfamilie im Bergischen Land, besonders in Remscheid, ansässig. Zu ihr gehören unter anderem →Adolf (1849–1910), Stadtpfarrer und Dekan in Freiburg im Breisgau (s. Literatur), und dessen Sohn →Erwin (* 1880, ⚔ 1914), Justitiar der Gelsenkirchener Bergwerks-AG (s. Literatur).
