  • Biography

    Grolmann: Joh. Aug. v. G., Jurist, geboren zu Gießen den 5. April 1805 als ältester Sohn des späteren hessischen Staatsministers Karl v. G. Er studirte in Gießen und Göttingen, habilitirte sich dort, wurde 1828 außerordentlicher Professor und starb am 9. Mai 1848 zu Gießen. Er schrieb „Nonnullae de statutaria conjugum portione observ.“. 1827; „Grundriß zu Vorlesungen über das katholische und protestantische Kirchenrecht“, 1828; „Grundsätze des allgemeinen katholischen und protestantischen Kirchenrechts“, 1832, 2. Auflage 1843.
