    Goltbeck: Andreas G. war Buchdrucker zu Braunschweig ums J. 1539. Ueber sein Leben ist nichts Weiteres bekannt, doch muß er nicht lange an jenem Orte seine Druckerei gehabt haben, da nur zwei Druckwerke von ihm bekannt sind. Der Titel des einen lautet wörtlich: „Etlike Trostspröke vor de förchtsamen und swacken gewetten tho hope gebracht dorch D. Johan Briefsman“. Am Ende: „Gedruckt tho Brunswick dorch Andres Goltbeck. M.D.XXXIX.“ kl. 8°. Er war der Zweite, welcher seine Kunst in Braunschweig ausübte.
