    Giseke: Matthias G., druckte ums J. 1521 zu Magdeburg. Er führt als Druckerzeichen: „Eine Gegend mit Thürmen auf hohen Felsen. Im Vordergrund sitzt Christus und übergibt einem Engel ein versiegeltes Buch, um den Schild stehen die Worte: Verbum Domini manet in aeternum. Matthaeus Giseke“. Noch in den Jahren 1569 und 1579 finden sich Werke vor, die bei ihm gedruckt wurden, woraus sich schließen läßt, daß seine Druckthätigkeit von langer Dauer war. Er druckte unter Anderem: „Entzelt, Märkische Chronik,“ 1579. 4°. „Sacci de Pontificiorum dubitatione in justificationis negotio“, Magdeburg 1569. 8°. etc.
