    Geringswald: Moriz Ferdinand G., Xylograph, geb. am 3. Septbr. 1825 zu Dresden. Autodidact, später in Gaber's Atelier, nach dessen Zeugniß er als der beste Holzschneider für Ludwig Richter's Zeichnungen galt. Starb leider in der hoffnungsvollsten Entwickelung schon am 9. Januar 1857 zu Dresden.
