Biography
Freyhub: Andreas F., evangelischer Theolog, aus Sprottau in Schlesien gebürtig, 1549 Baccalaureus, 1552 Magister der Philosophie, 30. Januar 1557 Baccalaureus, 22. Mai 1558 Licentiat, 25. Mai Doctor der Theologie, 14. October Beisitzer der theologischen Facultät, Professor in Leipzig und Canonicus in Meißen, wurde 1576 als Sacramentirer removirt, weil er die torgischen Artikel wol unterschrieben, nachher aber anders gelehrt hatte, und erhielt, nachdem er im Schlosse Pleißenburg vom 26. Mai bis 7. Juni in Haft gehalten worden war, als Calvinist das consilium abeundi, wandte sich sodann nach Zerbst, wo er am 3. August 1576 starb. Seine Schrift „De ecclesia et vocatione ministrorum ejus“ wurde von Franc. Turrianus heftig widerlegt.
