  • Biography

    A., der sich in den Revolutionskriegen hervorgetan hatte, trug in der Völkerschlacht bei Leipzig entscheidend zum Siege bei, indem er mit seinem Regiment das französische Zentrum durchbrach. Auf dem Schlachtfeld wurde er zum Generalmajor befördert und erhielt in der Folge das Ritterkreuz des Militär-Maria-Theresien-Ordens. 1829 zum Feldmarschallleutnant befördert, übernahm er eine Division (Böhmen) und wurde 1836 kommandierender General im Banat.
