    Fahrmann: Andreas Joseph F., geb. zu Zell am Main 1742, gebildet zu Würzburg unter Leitung der Jesuiten, welche seiner Zeit das geistliche Seminar noch inne hatten, war Prediger und Custos am Stift Haug zu Würzburg, nach Auflösung des Jesuitenordens Regens des Seminares daselbst, zuletzt Bischof von Almira i. part. inf. und Weihbischof der Diöcese Würzburg 1784|bis zu seinem Tode 1802. Er wirkte litterarisch gegen den berüchtigten K. F. Bahrdt, indem er ein „Theologisches Gutachten über die Bahrdt’sche Uebersetzung des N. Testamentes“, Würzburg 1788, veröffentlichte.
