    Eilmann: Moritz E., Mathematiker, geb. 16. Mai 1763 zu Rietberg, † 1809 wahrscheinlich zu Vechte, wo er, seit 1782 dem Franciscanerorden angehörend, 1789 als Professor am Gymnasium angestellt war. Bemerkenswerth sind seine in Osnabrück von 1805—1808 in drei Heften erschienenen logarithmischen Tafeln dadurch, daß in denselben die Logarithmen bis zu 13 Decimalstellen berechnet sind, was in keinem einzigen anderen Tabellenwerke der Fall zu sein scheint.
