Biography
Edeling: Mag. Petrus v. E. (Eddelink), geb. 1522 in Pasewalk aus adlichem Geschlecht, † 1602 zu Colberg, war von 1549—51 professor grammaticae et musicae zu Greifswald, dann Pastor in Pasewalk und seit 1568 Generalsuperintendent des Camminer Stifts und zugleich Colberger Capitelsdecan. Er machte sich um das Stift durch eine neue Kirchenvisitation verdient, arbeitete eine „Matrikel des Colberger Capitels“ und verfaßte mehrere kleinere Pommern und Colberg betreffende historische und geographische Schriften.
