    Dresler: Justus Heinrich D., Mathematiker, geb. zu Herborn im Mai 1775, † zu Dillenburg 15. Decbr. 1839. Professor an dem Gymnasium zu Herborn und Weilburg, seit September 1827 Rector des Pädagogiums zu Dillenburg. In letzterer Eigenschaft veröffentlichte er Ostern 1828 ein sehr gehaltvolles, historisch-mathematisches Programm: „Eratosthenes von der Verdoppelung des Würfels“. Später erschienen noch: „Theorie der Parallelen“, Wiesbaden 1834 und „Beweis des Satzes von der Winkelsumme des Vielecks“, Wiesbaden 1837.
