Aus Oberhessen stammende Pfarrer- und Beamtenfamilie, zu der auch gehören: →Ferdinand Bernhard von H. (1731–1802), Regierungs- und Kammerpräsident, Kanzler des Fürstentums Lippe-Detmold, und dessen Sohn →Johann Wilhelm von H. (1771–1844), lippischer Oberhofmarschall und Kammerpräsident, ferner der preußische General der Infanterie →Georg Wilhelm von H. (1777–1860, siehe Priesdorf IV, S. 329 folgende, Porträt).
