    Familie des Herborner Landes, Stammvater ist der Schuhmachermeister und Lederhändler →Ambrosius (1575–1635). Zu ihr gehören u. a.: Gottfried (1665–1726), Professor der Theologie an der Hohen Schule in Hanau, dann Pastor an St. Ansgar in Bremen (s. ADB 14; Strieder VI, W), →Marie (1835–75), Schriftstellerin (s. Brümmer), →Antonie (1843–1918), Lyrikerin, Epikerin, Übersetzerin (s. Brümmer; Kosch, Lit.-Lex.), →Hugo (1853–1923), Dirigent, Komponist (s. Riemann), →Johannes (1871–1930), Lic. Theol., Pfarrer, Kirchenhistoriker (s. Wi. 1928) und →Hans (* 1888), Redakteur, Schriftsteller (s. Kosch, Lit.-Lex.). Papiermacher waren →Johann Henrich (1726–97) und Johannes Henrich (1750–97).
