Biography
Arends: Wilhelm Erasmus A., in seiner Jugend Informator des bekannten frommen Kindes Christlieb Leberecht von Exter, sodann Pfarrer zu Crottorf im Fürstenthum Halberstadt, schließlich Pastor an St. Petri und Pauli zu Halberstadt, † 1721. — Freylingshausen's Gesangbuch enthält etliche Lieder von A., unter denen sich besonders das Heldenlied „Rüstet Euch, ihr Christenleute“ fast überall Eingang verschafft und erhalten hat.
