  • Biography

    Möbius: Gottfried M., zu Laucha in Thüringen 1611 geboren, studirte in Jena Medicin und Naturwissenschaften, promovirte 1640 und wurde Professor der Medicin daselbst und zugleich Leibarzt des Kurfürsten Friedrich Wilhelm von Brandenburg und des Herzogs Wilhelm von Weimar. Er starb zu Halle am 25. April 1664. Außer verschiedenen medicinischen Abhandlungen schrieb er: „Ἐλαϕολογία s. Dissertatio de natura cervi“.
