    Adelsgeschlecht des Erzstifts Magdeburg und der Mark Brandenburg, seit ca. 1800 auch in Bayern ansässig. Zu ihm gehören: →Daniel Friedrich (1721–83), preuß. Generalleutnant, Chef des Bosniakenkorps und des Schwarzen Husarenregiments (s. Priesdorff II, S. 36-38, P), →Ludwig (1836–1904), sächs. Generalmajor und Kommandant der Festung Königstein, →Louis (1837–1923) und →Adolf (1840–1927), bayer. Generalmajore, →Gustav (1833–91), Geh. Regierungsrat und Mitglied des Statistischen Amts des Deutschen Reiches, und →Wilhelm Otto (1892–1975), Journalist in München.
