    Die Familie stammt aus Goltsch-Jenikau bei Tschaslau (Mittelböhmen). Zu ihr gehören: Rabbi →Aron (1795–1881), Bibelforscher und Talmudist (siehe ÖBL), und dessen Bruder Moritz, Inhaber einer Branntwein-Brennerei, die beide eine Talmudschule unterhielten, Sigmund (seit 1909 →Baron, 1852–1909), Präsident der Ungarischen Allgemeinen Creditbank (siehe ÖBL), und →Sigmund (1859–1927), Psychiater in Wien (siehe Fischer; ÖBL).
