    Gresten: Herr Waltram (Alram) v. G., lyrischer Dichter aus Neidhart's Schule. Seinen Namen hat die Pariser Handschrift erhalten, welche Lieder er verfaßt hat, kann man bei der schwankenden Ueberlieferung nicht wissen. Gresten ist ein alter Marktflecken an der Erlaf in Oesterreich unter der Enns, ein ritterliches Geschlecht des Namens ist im 13. Jahrhundert nachweisbar.
