Biographical Presentation
Das reichsritterschaftliche Geschlecht wird mit Eberhardus de Bodemen 1152 zuerst urkundlich erwähnt und teilte sich um 1424 in zwei Linien, deren erster Adam (1740–1816), der Urgroßvater von Emanuel s. (1) und Heinrich s. (2), entstammt. Der Familie gehört auch →Rupertus (1646–1727) an, der seit 1678 Fürstabt von Kempten war.
