    Stemler: David St., evangelischer Prediger, † nach 1753, älterer Bruder von Johann Christian St. (s. d.). St. wurde zu Copitzsch am 11. Juni 1700 geboren, erhielt nach Absolvirung seiner theologischen Studien das Pfarramt seines Vaters in seiner Heimath (1724) und wurde 1744 Superintendent und Pastor zu Grimma. Er starb nach 1753. Die Titel seiner Schriften s. bei Meusel, Lexikon XIII (1813), 352—353.
