Biography
Auer: Johann Paul A., Maler, geb. zu Nürnberg 20. Sept. 1636 (nicht 1638), † 16. Oct. 1687, bildete sich in Venedig nach Liberi. Er malte Bildnisse, Historien und Landschaften und genoß seiner Zeit in seiner Heimath|eines ausgezeichneten Rufes. Verschiedene Bildnisse wurden nach ihm gestochen.
